‘Frame Breaker’ Birthday Beer!

Nottingham Brewery has created a beer called ‘Frame Breaker’ to celebrate the 45th  anniversary of Ruddington’s Framework Knitters’ Museum.

The new brew can be sampled at the museum’s August Bank Holiday Garden Party, this Monday the 29th, from 11am to 4pm.  It can also be purchased at the three pubs run by the micro-brewery – including The Frame Breakers in Ruddington.   20 pence from every pint of  ‘Frame Breaker ‘ real ale sold is being donated to the museum.

The annual Garden Party, now in its fifth year, will have craft stalls and live music from local artists like the King Ned Ludd jazz band.  Visitors will enjoy free access to the Framework Knitters’ Museum, the Chapel Art Gallery and events in the garden.

Framework Knitters' Garden Party

Paul Baker, Framework Knitters’ Museum manager, said:

The garden has already been transformed into a wonderland with knitted flowers and insects, and relaxing there listening to some great live music is the perfect way to spend the day.”

The Framework Knitters’ Museum is on Chapel Street in Ruddington.

If visiting by public transport you can catch either the NCT Navy 3 or Green 10 to Chapel Street – running to the Sunday timetables.
