Stella Dickie of RVCP says: “Makers’ Night is one of our favourite events of the year, with so many talented artists, designers, makers and crafters coming along. The whole village comes alive, and many of Ruddington’s fabulous indie shops and cafes open late, joining in with their own pop-up stalls. It all adds to the brilliant atmosphere in the village on the night, with visitors staying to enjoy drinks at Ruddington’s bars and pubs.”
Organisers are asking locals to walk to the event, if possible, and visitors to use be free parking being available at Sellors’ Field (postcode: NG11 6BG – approach from the B680) from 4pm to 9.30pm: “Our marshals will help you get parked up, and it’s an easy 10 minute walk straight down the High Street.”
N.B. The market shuttle bus will not be in operation for Makers’ Night .
