BioBlitz at Rushcliffe Country Park

Family and friends come to this free event to count the number of wildlife species living in our Country Park. On Sunday 3rd July, BioBlitz continues, between 10am and 5pm.

BioBlitz is a fun way to find as many different type of plants and animals in the park in just one day and one night – which started yesterday evening, with the Bat walk and talk! Organisers explain that you’ll be able to do your own survey or accompany experts on walks, looking for birds, plants, dragonflies, insects, pondlife, etc.

Friends of Rushcliffe Country Park (FoRCP) says: “Join us for an exciting day discovering and identifying the wildlife and nature on the park – and doing some fun activities!
