Firefighters from West Bridgford, Highfields, London Road and East Leake stations were at work in the early hours of this morning tackling a house fire in Ruddington.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a property at the corner of Kirk Lane and Loughborough Road at 12.32am today (Saturday 14th December) which was reported to be on fire. Crews used breathing apparatus whilst fighting the flames using two hose reel jets, 1 main jet and an aerial platform ladder.
The building is undergoing renovation work which was almost complete. There are no reports of any injuries during the incident and the property is not believed to have been severely damaged.
Police who remained at the scene this morning were unable to give RUDDINGTON.info any further information at this stage – including how they think the fire may have started.
