A unique and musical Christmas commercial featuring staff from a dozen of Ruddington’s High Street retailers singing on location in tandem with Ruddington Community Choir – the first of its kind for our village – premiered today (Saturday 1st December) during the annual Christmas Fayre!
Visitors to both the The Frame Breakers’ pub and St Peter’s Church {top photo} gathered to watch the debut public screenings of the “Twelve Days of Christmas” carol, #RuddyGood style. The several showings of the ninety second video throughout the afternoon even resulted in rounds of applause at the end!
If you couldn’t be there, don’t worry, as it’s now available to watch HERE:
Everyone involved in the creation of this imaginative and fun Ruddington Village Centre Partnership (RVCP) promotion gave up their time and talents for free – to benefit our village traders by aiming to encourage people to shop locally this Christmas. It’s now hoped their video will be shared far and wide!

To give the video even more promotion, Ruddington PR guru Louise Third MBE facilitated the printing of a special “Twelve Days of Traders” advent calendar style poster {below} – designed for RVCP by Wig Wag Creative using still images from Paul Witney‘s video and printed by Adlard Print & Reprographics.
Those who worked on the festive video, and the participating retailers, will now each be getting a copy to keep and display in their businesses.
