Rather, ‘The Big Purple Party’ is an opportunity to help Nottinghamshire Hospice paint the village purple with friends, family and colleagues to help funds for local hospice care. No, this has nothing to do with June’s general election! It’s actually a fundraiser by the Nottinghamshire Hospice charity, running from Monday the 22nd to Sunday the 28th May. And they’d like Ruddington folk to get involved! Ruddington Shop Manager, Tessa Eastel, says “It’s a week-long event and party that’s happening across the county and everyone is invited to join us!
