Steering the Partnership as Ruddington Networking Resumes

In common with many other activities in our village, the popular, face-to-face ‘Ruddington Business Partnership’ meetings were put on hold early in 2020 when the Coronavirus pandemic struck. With all the UK’s hospitality venues closed for a time by COVID-19, then restrictions in place after that, the monthly networking sessions at The Next Episode on Dutton’s Hill were substituted by fortnightly online meetings via Zoom – incorporating Rushcliffe Business Partnership networkers from across the Borough. Ruddington Marketing Boss Makes Headway for Charity

A Ruddington digital marketing expert has raised money for a charity in crisis after moving her training sessions online. Shamshad Walker started collecting cash for Headway Nottingham after hearing it was in difficulties. She moved her training sessions online after the COVID-19 pandemic hit and has been asking delegates to donate money to the local charity instead of taking the money herself. The Next Episode for Ruddington Networking

An informal networking event which has been bringing business people together in our village for over eight years has announced another change of venue. From this month, Ruddington Business Partnership will be meeting a little further along Wilford Road at number six – a slightly more “trendy” venue now called The Next Episode – which is also run by Mark and Sarah Anderson of The Ruddington Arms.
