Two popular Ruddington bus services due to be axed because of Council budget cuts have been saved by their existing operator. CT4N, part of Nottingham Community Transport, which currently runs the the Locallink L22 and L23 services on behalf of the city and county councils, has decided to continue to operate them on a commercial basis. It’s been revealed that two popular bus routes, which provide an hourly daytime service via Ruddington, are facing the axe under the latest Nottingham City Council (NCC) spending cuts. Currently the Council funds our Monday to Saturday Locallink L22 and L23 services – which are FREE for everyone. They run on a circular route in opposite directions through Ruddington, serving Clifton, Silverdale, Wilford Lane, West Bridgford Town Centre, Gamston and Lady Bay. Roundabout Road Closures Begin

There will be significant daytime disruption for Ruddington’s drivers and bus users this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. From Monday the 27th February until Wednesday 1st of March both Wilford Road and Clifton Road are due to be closed at the construction site of our new roundabout from 9.30am until 3.30pm each day. Between these times there will be pedestrian and cycle access only.
