A Ruddington charity which was set up four years’ ago to give a better quality of life to dementia sufferers and their families has been the first to officially receive its cash from the 2020-2021 round of the Co-op Local Community Fund. Co-op Shoppers Raise £3k for Museum!

Staff and volunteers at Ruddington’s Framework Knitters’ Museum say they’re “delighted and astonished” to have received a donation of almost £3,000 from the Co-op Local Community Fund. Earlier in the year, their ‘Hidden Histories’ exhibition project was chosen as one of the nominated causes to receive funds from Co-op members who shop at local stores and use Co-op services in the Nottinghamshire area, including the Ruddington branch.
