Chocolate Nativity

Christmas Day is a joyful celebration to bring everyone together.  St Peter’s Church welcomes all to its Chocolate Nativity at 10am on Monday 25th December. Reverend Andrew Buchanan, Vicar at the church, says : “Happy Birthday Jesus. Back by popular demand –a Chocolate Nativity – come and join us for this short, family-friendly service, followed by a short Holy Communion service for those who want to stay.” You will find St Peter’s on Church Street in Ruddington village centre. King’s Coronation Events in Ruddington

Thanks to King Charles III, this year we’re getting no less than THREE Bank Holiday Mondays during May. Come for Christingle!

If you like sweets and festive fun involving all the family, then please come along to help make around 400 Christingles! On 22nd December from 11.30am in The Hermitage Centre (located along St Peter’s Church). Christian tradition is for children to stick sweets on cocktail sticks; then to pop them in an object, usually an orange (representing the globe), wrap a red ribbon (sharing love) around the orange; and then a candle (lighting up the world) goes on top.
