It’s official – Ruddington has the ‘Best Indian Chef in Nottinghamshire’!
Monaim Choudhury of The Three Spices on Easthorpe Street (pictured on stage) has just received this accolade at the “Curry Life Awards 2016” organised by Curry Life Magazine.
He learned the good news during a glittering ceremony at The Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London last night – and was presented with a special plate (left). Three Spices owner Mahbu Noor and other members of the team were also there to hear the announcement and collect the prestigious award.
The ceremony was hosted by BBC Breakfast TV presenter and “Celebrity Masterchef” finalist Louise Minchin. Among the guest speakers was Secretary of State for international Development Rt. Hon Priti Patel who said it was “…a great opportunity to celebrate the enormous talent that is on display around the country … and the success of the Great British Curry!”
Meantime, on behalf of Monaim and his team, Mahbu told RUDDINGTON.info “I am overjoyed to be a part of this prestigious award. I’d like to thank all the staff, friends and customers. Without their continual support this would never have been possible.”
The Three Spices – one of two Indian restaurants in our village – is open Sunday to Thursday from 5:30pm to 11pm and Friday & Saturday from 5:30pm to 11.30pm. It’s located behind The Three Crowns public house at 23, Easthorpe Street in Ruddington.
