Open Meeting: Warm Spaces
Come along to an open meeting to see how the village may be able to help vulnerable people during the cold winter weather to have warm spaces to go to in the daytime. It will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday 18th October at 7.30pm in St Peter’s Church.
The aim’s for individuals and groups to come together to discuss how we as a community can help in some way to provide warm and welcoming places.
Liz Mack says: “after having conversations with both worried residents, our church PCC, and the Parish Council, we felt it would be useful if we could try and bring together as many people as possible across the village to get as much accurate information about how people are coping and what the actual needs are, and then pool them together in a coherent way to come up with ways of opening up public warms spaces and making sure people can access them easily. I hope to have a representative from Nottingham Energy Partnership who will give us advice about how we can keep our homes warm.”
