The number of reported crimes in Ruddington fell last month – according to figures for February just released by Rushcliffe Police. In fact, there were just NINE offences in total – most of those being drive-offs from Ruddington Service Station. Police have renewed their appeal to Ruddington residents to be vigilant after a new spate of thefts from vehicles over the weekend. Three vehicles parked at properties on Kirk Lane were targeted between 9pm on Friday (December 8th) and 8am yesterday. Some of the stolen items were subsequently found dumped nearby. Rushcliffe Police are reporting another spate of thefts from vehicles in their patch over the last two days – THREE of them in Ruddington. These latest incidents took place at Woodhouse Gardens – and in all three cases there were no signs of forced entry.
