Believe it or not, Ruddington’s skies are set to see the spectacle of airborne bears this month; a fun new idea for our village kids to help raise funds for others in need. What’s thought to be the first ever ‘Teddy Bear Parachute Jump’ to be held in our village is taking place on Saturday 25th September 2021, in aid of Save the Children, and it’s hoped to get as many families involved as possible. Ruddington Open Gardens Return

Following the success of the inaugural event in the summer of 2016, it’s been revealed there’s to be a second “Ruddington Open Gardens” event in June this year – which organisers hope will be even bigger and better. The date for the 2018 event is to be the weekend of 23rd/24th June, and all proceeds will again be shared between the charities Save the Children and Action for Children.
