A popular, Ruddington running event which attracts hundreds of participants each year is still taking place – but has gone online! So, rather than the usual crowds packed into Rushcliffe Country Park today, like many other things at the moment it will instead be a ‘remote’ experience. Ruddington Running Event Called Off

Promoters have announced the postponement of this weekend’s Rushcliffe 10K & Running Festival – which was due to take place in Rushcliffe Country Park on Sunday (1st March 2020). It’s been cancelled due to safely fears following severe flooding of parts of the course over the last fortnight after the almost unprecedented spell of rain. Robin Hood Marathon Green 10 Changes

The annual Robin Hood Marathon is taking place this Sunday 29th September which will affect Nottingham City Transport buses crossing the route, including Ruddington’s Green 10 and Green 10C services. Some disruption will occur between 8.30am and 1.30pm. During all of this period: Green 10/10C from Ruddington will follow its normal route to Trent Bridge and then continue along London Road (the Victoria Embankment stop will be closed), and left Canal Street to the Broadmarsh area, where it will resume its normal route to the City Centre. Robin Hood Marathon Bus Changes

Ruddington’s bus passengers are being warned of changes to their services during this weekend’s Robin Hood Marathon. Sunday’s Full and Half Marathons (24th September) will affect numerous routes including Nottingham City Transport’s (NCT’s) Navy 3 and Green 10/10C on their way to and from the city. This year, London Road will be closed in both directions at the start of the marathon and buses will not be able to serve Trent Bridge between 09:20 and 10:20 and are diverting via Lady Bay Bridge.
