Another special milestone in our village history will be reached during 2024 – when Ruddington Bowls Club celebrates a hundred years. When it was founded in 1924, it was originally called ‘Ruddington (Paget) Bowls Club’, as the land it occupied had been donated by the Paget family. However, just ten years’ later, the club moved to the Green at Elms Park, on grounds owned by Ruddington Parish Council, where it remains to this very day.
