A team of inspiring British athletes, who have overcome ill health and successful organ transplants, are heading to Canada to compete in the eleventh World Transplant Winter Games at the end of this month. Kidney transplant recipient and Ruddington resident, Mark Brown, is making his final preparations before representing Great Britain at the 10th Winter World Transplant Games (WWTG) in Anzere, Switzerland, next month. The 2018 Games take place from the 7th to 12th January, with Team GB comprising 12 adults and one junior – plus six children competing in the Nicholas Cup.
