Nottinghamshire Police has announced there’s again a different head of neighbourhood policing in Ruddington – the second change at the top in as many years. Drop in Reported Crime During May

Although of no consolation to those who were targeted, most Ruddington residents and traders will be relieved to hear there’s been a slight reduction in reported crime during the past month. Rushcliffe Police have listed just 16 offences in our village – down from 20 the month before. In total there were five burglaries, two vehicles stolen and four thefts from vehicles – with the rest of the incidents relating to criminal damage, anti-social behaviour (ASB) and drug use. Village Crime Rate Drops

The number of reported crimes in Ruddington fell last month – according to figures for February just released by Rushcliffe Police. In fact, there were just NINE offences in total – most of those being drive-offs from Ruddington Service Station. However SIX motorists sped off without paying for their fuel between the 1st and 28th February – which is a continuing problem for the Loughborough Road premises.
