As Storm Dennis lashed Ruddington this weekend, some residents awoke on Sunday morning to find themselves with no electricity. Western Power Distribution (WPD) confirmed to RUDDINGTON.info that a fault on its low voltage network at the Savages Row substation is “affecting a predicted 171 properties” in the Wilford Road area at the northern end of our village.
