Ruddingtonians will get to see our local “Pointless” stars AGAIN – after they reached the “Head to Head” stage of the popular BBC TV quiz presented by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman on Friday. Father and daughter David and Megan McFarlane low-scored their way through to the penultimate round against Matilda and Amanda. But their opponents got to play first in a set of options about “Short Stories and Novellas” – and stole the lowest scoring answer! Our village is set to feature on national television yet again today – this time courtesy of a Ruddington duo’s appearance on the BBC quiz show “Pointless”! Father and daughter David and Megan McFarlane (pictured above) will appear on this afternoon’s episode of the popular programme presented by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman which airs at 5.15pm on BBC1.
