One of Ruddington’s best known community figures has revealed he’ll soon be off to pastures new. ‘Community Sundays’ in Ruddington
Residents are invited to get involved with a wide variety of activities organised in and around our village on the first Sunday of each month. They’re an initiative which was started by Ruddington Baptist Church last year. Over the years, the Ruddington community have provided incredible support for the NG11 Foodbank, with gifts of food and toiletries made to donation points across the village. In the last year alone, for example, Co-op shoppers donated almost 2000kg of food; the children of James Peacock School collected nearly 200kg for their Harvest Festival; and recently, Sainsbury’s have been donating their surplus fresh and baked produce for next-day distribution.
