Parish Council By-Election To Be Held

You don’t have to be King Arthur to get into Camelot when it comes to Ruddington Parish Council!  But you do need to live locally and have a keen interest in village affairs.

The latest vacancy in Camelot Ward follows the resignation of Councillor Andy Scott towards the end of last year for “family reasons”.

Interest has been received to fill the vacant post and so this notice of election has just been published by Rushcliffe Borough Council.

You’ll see that time is quite tight since prospective candidates have only until 4pm next Friday the 27th of January to submit nomination papers.

There’s more information online >>HERE<<.

The election will take place on Thursday the 23rd of  February providing that two or more candidates remain validly nominated after the close of the period of withdrawals for nominations.
