Following the success of the debut event in June, the organisers of Ruddington Village Market are putting on a second ‘Makers Night’ for Christmas, a special festive craft evening across three main village venues and some of our high street shops.
It’s taking place on Friday 6th December from 6pm until 9pm, again at The Cottage Hotel, the White Horse Inn and The Frame Breakers, who will host over 40 artisan craft stalls between them to form a ‘craft trail’ through the heart of Ruddington. Food and drink will be available at all three venues, with ‘live’ music promised, too. Visitors will spot some familiar and popular stallholders from last time around and our monthly Village Markets, plus some new craft stalls, too.
Several village centre businesses are opening late and hosting further craft stalls including Philo’s, The Bottle Top, Thomas James Estate Agents, Aveda at Eleven and Ruby Rae. More are likely to join in as the date approaches, making it another ‘buzzing’ night-time village event for residents and visitors alike. Be sure to check out the latest #RuddyGoodOffers with your Ruddy Good Loyalty Card at participating traders, too!
Co-organiser Mark Pinks, from Ruddington Village Centre Partnership (RVCP), says: “Makers’ Night in June was such a great success, with hundreds of villagers and visitors coming out to explore the craft stalls all around the village centre on a warm summer’s evening. Since then, so many people have been asking us whether we’d have a Makers’ Night at Christmas too, so we’re really excited that it’s back!”
