St Valentine is the latest subject to receive the attention of talented creatives in and around our village for their current ‘Ruddington Yarn Bomb’.
Whilst the pillar box topper on Church Street gets changed quite frequently, ‘Ruddington Yarn Ninjas’ pulled out all the stops again in preparation for Valentine’s Day 2023 by knitting and crocheting romantically themed pieces to adorn other village centre locations, too.
Some of these latest creations can be seen above and below, courtesy of Emma Scott, but there are even more to enjoy on their dedicated Facebook page >>HERE<<.
Emma, who says their Valentine’s Day display is “celebrating love and friendship” was interviewed about it by Rob Rose on BBC Radio Nottingham this morning {February 14th}. Ruddington’s ‘Yarn Bomb’ is also being featured on BBC East Midlands Today bulletins and programmes throughout today.
Meantime, up in the Brookside Road area, Ainsley Burton aka ‘Creed’ has added to his growing portfolio of Ruddington graffiti art with his latest garage door artwork – his third ‘Valentine’ design to date.
A very happy Valentine’s Day from the team at RUDDINGTON.info!
