U3A Monthly Meeting & Guest Speaker

Monday’s monthly gathering is run by our local U3A – The University of the Third Age.  It’s for “retired and semi-retired people to make new friends, keep active and learn together. Of course it’s not a university in the usual sense. It’s a university of life” says the Ruddington and District U3A.

July’s guest speaker is Steve LeMottee talking about ‘Sport on The Forest from the 17th century’ .

Non-members are always welcome. You can attend for free at the first session and the branch says “but must thereafter join to be entitled to attend further meetings”.

The Ruddington & District Branch was formed in 2018. Membership for a full year is £20, and you can either join at the meeting, and chat to members, or find out more from the website.

The meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 2pm in Ruddington Methodist Church. Don’t forget your membership card, please.
