U3A Monthly Meeting & Speaker

Monday’s monthly talk, run by our local U3A, will be “Sidney Race’s Nottingham Nights” with Ann Featherstone.

Non-members are always welcome. You can attend as a guest and the branch says “but must thereafter join to be entitled to attend further meetings“.

The Ruddington & District Branch was formed in 2018. Membership for a full year is £20, and you can either join at the meeting, and chat to members, or find out more from the website.

The meetings are held, on the third Monday of the month, for members at 2pm in Ruddington Methodist Church. Just go along, with your membership card, please. 

U3A stands for University of The Third Age. It’s for “retired and semi-retired people to make new friends, keep active and learn together. Of course it’s not a university in the usual sense. It’s a university of life” says The Ruddington and District U3A.
