Whilst not all COVID-19 restrictions are quite lifted yet, Ruddington Village Marketcan again feature a full range of businesses this month under current Government guidelines – meaning that all types of trader may attend.
Organisers from the award-winning Ruddington Village Centre Partnership (RVCP)say they’re expecting 59 stall-holders plus ‘live’ music act Higgs Bo’sunonSaturday July 3rd -with the popular event runningfrom 9.00am to 12.30pmas usual.They promise that all COVID-secure measures such as metre-spaced stalls and separate, coned queue lines will remain in place, plus hand sanitiser stations dotted around the market, with all traders and volunteers still being asked to mask-up for your (and their) safety.
All retailers, pubsand cafes in nearby Ruddington village centre are also now open again – although hospitality venues can still only serve customers inside under the ‘Rule of Six’ (subject to further change, of course, with any new Government guidance). For market visitors, groups of up to 30 people are currently allowed to gather outdoors.
By permission of Ruddington Parish Council, traders’ stallsare set up utilising all available areas of The Green, offering a variety of goods, produce, plants, confectionery, quality crafts and provisions to take away.
July’s Ruddington Village Market on The Green will be laid out slightly differently…

The stands are run by village retailers (marked with a gold star) including the brand newSolstice BreweryandThe Split Screen Coffee Company, as well as popular market traders visiting from across the region. As the selection of stall holders changes every month, there are always some surprises, sodo keep checking back!
Market-goers are also encouraged to visit our other independent businesses in Ruddington such asPhilo’s Espresso Bar & Gift Shopand The Bottle Topon High Street. Ruddington Parish Council representatives will also have their usual stall at the market to discuss any local issues you may wish to raise with the Councillors.Housing in Ruddington is high on the public agenda at the moment.
