Police have renewed their appeal to Ruddington residents to be vigilant after a new spate of thefts from vehicles over the weekend.
Three vehicles parked at properties on Kirk Lane were targeted between 9pm on Friday (December 8th) and 8am yesterday. Some of the stolen items were subsequently found dumped nearby.
PCSO 7424 Anthony Davies says: “Have you seen or heard anything suspicious? Do you have a CCTV system and if so has it picked anything up. If you have please let us know by calling 101 and quoting the incident number.”
In fact, two separate incident numbers have been given, relating to these crimes, which are 000239-10122017 and 000442-10122017.
During the summer, vehicles on Bladon Road, Upper Canaan and Peacock Close were broken into in July – whilst Woodhouse Gardens was targeted in August.
With the long nights here, and Christmas fast approaching, you’re advised particularly not to leave gifts in unattended vehicles – so making them easy pickings for criminals to try to ruin your festive season.
