Managers and staff at Ruddington’s Country Cottage Hotel are celebrating again after they won another accolade for taking extra steps to ensure customers are safe and have a great time when they visit. Our popular village hotel, conference, music and wedding venue – run by Julie Sturt and her son Andrew – secured the “Judges Choice Award 2016/17” for Rushcliffe. Amazing Grace

Ruddington’s Grace Hardy has just missed out on being crowned “Miss Nottingham 2017”. Having become one of the top 10 finalists out of 19 women originally competing at this year’s contest, the 19 year old student came an impressive THIRD in Sunday night’s glitzy ceremony held at The Village Hotel in Beeston. The second runner-up was Chloe Adkin from Sutton-In-Ashfield. But it was 16 year old Nottingham student Maisie Hobbs who was crowned Miss Nottingham this year – becoming the youngest ever winner!
