The ceremony was hosted by BBC Breakfast TV presenter and “Celebrity Masterchef” finalist Louise Minchin. Among the guest speakers was Secretary of State for international Development Rt. Hon Priti Patel who said it was “…a great opportunity to celebrate the enormous talent that is on display around the country … and the success of the Great British Curry!”

Meantime, on behalf of Monaim and his team, Mahbu told “I am overjoyed to be a part of this prestigious award. I’d like to thank all the staff, friends and customers. Without their continual support this would never have been possible.”

The Three Spices – one of two Indian restaurants in our village – is open Sunday to Thursday from 5:30pm to 11pm and Friday & Saturday from 5:30pm to 11.30pm. It’s located behind The Three Crowns public house at 23, Easthorpe Street in Ruddington.
