‘Heat ‘n’ Eat’ £1 Monday Lunch

If you’re a Ruddington resident, living on a tight budget, you can pre-book for a chef-prepared hot meal and a soft drink for just £1. It’s served at 12.30pm in the welcoming and warm space of St Peter’s Church.

Organisers at the Church say it’s usually scheduled to run on the 1st and 4th Monday of the month.

Heat ‘n’ Eat is a way for everyone to enjoy affordable, good, wholesome food. We hope you’ll want to be part of this new community whether you work at home or in a local office, live alone or with a partner, or simply enjoy socialising.”

This fortnightly initiative was made possible with financial support from Rushcliffe Borough Council. The 2-course meal has proved popular ever since it first began on the 27th June 2022. Then in 2023 available places were increased. Anyone who lives in the village can attend, but places are limited and you do need to book in advance!

Please register  >>HERE<< via Eventbrite by the Thursday before, so organisers know how many people to cater for.  The limit is usually around 40 per meal, so you’re advised to book as early as possible.

For further details – if you’ve dietary requirements or just need help with registering – please email Church Administrator Nikki at ruddoffice@gmail.com.

You can read the ‘Heat ‘n’ Eat’ news story >>HERE<<.

Please note: The event is usually scheduled to run on the first and fourth Monday of the month. But please check if Heat ‘n’ Eat is on a Bank Holiday Monday as dates may be subject to change by the organisers because the initiative is under a monthly review.

Disclaimer: RUDDINGTON.info publish all diary events in good faith and can’t be held responsible for any changes or cancellations of the activity. We run our calendar as a community service and details were correct at the time we promoted them, so advise you to contact the organiser before attending. Thanks.
