Ruddington businesses are helping families to get into the Hallowe’en mood this weekend with their very own ‘Trick or Treat’ trail around our village centre. Co-ordinated by Alex Preston of The Bottle Top (pictured), this Saturday’s event (29th October 2022) has been organised as a safe and fun way for our village youngsters to fill up their baskets and buckets. Do you realise it’s now a year since Ruddington’s Co-op was officially relaunched by village schoolchildren wearing spooky, Hallowe’en attire, following its extensive refurbishment? Whilst such public gatherings are not being encouraged during these strange, COVID-19 times, the Church Street store is marking the milestone with a challenge local youngsters can complete on their own or with their families. Hunting for Hallowe’en!

A dozen of Ruddington’s village centre traders have got together to create a not-too-spooky event for our younger residents and visitors to enjoy this Hallowe’en. The family friendly ‘Hallowe’en Treasure Hunt’ is taking place this Saturday October 26th between 3pm and 5pm, and anyone with children is invited to join in. Those taking part are encouraged to get out their scariest costumes and pick up their ‘Treasure Map’ from The Bottle Top at 3pm.
