WI Monthly Meeting and Singing

For March, Ruddington Women’s Institute meeting will also have singing! That’s because the charity has speakers and/or activities – like gin tasting to Tai Chi – as part of its meetings. This is an event for you to find out about Qi Gong – the traditional Chinese technique of gentle movement, breathing and meditation that practitioners believe supports mental and physical health. “Qi Gong is suitable for all ages and abilities. Whilst usually done in a standing position, it can also be done seated. Qi Gong is a holistic system of self-healing exercises which include gentle flowing movements, breathing techniques, healing postures and visualisation” explains certified Qi Gong teacher Caroline Challender. At Ruddington Christmas Market is the WI Craft and Bake stall from 11am on Saturday 2nd December in St Peter’s Rooms. It’s part of this year’s extended Ruddington Christmas Market and everyone’s welcome!
