Thursday’s Ruddington Christmas Market

Ho, ho, ho! Running for three days (30th Nov-2nd Dec) is Ruddington Christmas Market between 4pm and 9pm on Thursday and Friday, then on Saturday from 11am to 5pm around the village centre.  There’ll be the ‘Christmas Village on The Green’ during all three days, featuring a large covered stage and Blitzen’s Bar sponsored by Castle Rock Brewery. November Village Market Cancelled!

Organisers of Ruddington’s popular monthly market have announced their decision to cancel this month’s event over health and safety fears due to the extreme autumn weather. It was due to be held this Saturday, 4th November on The Green and, as normal, would have featured around 80 stalls, food and drink, ‘live’ music and other attractions. However, the effects of Storm Ciarán on top of other recent persistent rainfall have made ground conditions on The Green unsuitable. Ruddington Makers’ Night

This event is to showcase over 70 regional crafters and makers – from fine art to jewellery – in various venues in our village centre. Organisers of our monthly Ruddington Village Market have announced yet another departure from the norm for their festive offering this year; they’re planning to run it over THREE days! Ruddington Village Community Partnership (RVCP) has revealed the 2023 dates and times will be Thursday 30th November 4pm – 9pm, Friday 1st December 4pm – 9pm and Saturday 2nd December 11am – 5pm. Council Cash For Our Village Market

Organisers of Ruddington’s popular monthly market on The Green are welcoming extra funding to support its growth and expansion. Through its ‘Strategic Growth Fund’, Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) has provided £14,800 in match funding for Ruddington Village Community Partnership (RVCP) to support the running of Ruddington Village Market – which now sees over 75 participating businesses each month and attracts thousands of visitors to our village. Organisers of the first ever ‘RUDD Awards’ have just announced the 18 finalists – individuals, businesses and community groups from the village who’ve been shortlisted from over 300 nominations. The inaugural ‘RUDD Awards’ were launched in July 2022 by RVCP, Ruddington Village Community Partnership, to celebrate locals who’re making a difference to life in Ruddington, as well as contributing to a thriving ‘community hub and prosperous high street’.
