Whether you’re a former employee of Barton’s Buses, or simply have memories of catching these comfortable coaches numbered as the 14 or 54 to and from Ruddington to the City or Clifton, this FREE event is for you! Running between 10.00am and 4pm at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre (NTHC) on Sunday 21st May 2023, organisers say the ‘Barton Bus Bonanza’ will feature both resident buses and visiting survivors of the Barton fleet – with some even offering free trips around the local countryside. This event will be a trip down memory lane for former Barton staff. Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre says it’s “a chance for ex-employees of Barton Transport to gather and reminisce amongst a collection of preserved vehicles from the fleet.“ The Barton Ex-employee Day on Sunday 22nd May is open to all visitors between 10am and 4pm at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre.
