Farewell Ruddington Fun

After almost eight years of providing free, holiday play activities in Ruddington, the team behind ‘Ruddington Fun‘ has announced the sad news that it’s having to call it a day… Founder Barbara Breakwell recounts: “In summer 2010, I started ‘Summer Fun in Ruddington’. “The Beast” Hits Ruddington!

After having escaped the worst impacts of the bad weather sweeping the UK earlier this week, Ruddington has seen the heaviest snowfall of the winter during the past 24 hours – thanks to the effects of the so-called “Beast From The East”. Villagers awoke to a blanket of around three inches of drifting snow this morning – accompanied by icy north-easterly winds.
