Challenge your teddy! Is your bear brave enough to make a parachute jump from a Church tower in the village to raise funds for Save the Children? Ruddington’s ‘Teddy Bear Parachute Jump’ is taking place from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday 16th September at St Peter’s Church. ‘Ruddington Open Gardens’ 2024 Weekend

The biennial charity event returns! Ruddington Open Gardens 2024 is on Saturday and Sunday 1st and 2nd June from 2pm until 6pm – so make sure you’ve got your ticket. You can visit around a dozen gardens, as well as allotments and other green spaces, around the village. Live music is planned on both afternoons at Ruddington Methodist Church where there’ll be games and you can also purchase plants to preserves, see Art and flower demos and more.  This year, youngsters can enter a mini garden competition and go on the free children’s trail.
