Not to be confused with Ruddington’s most famous feline, the legendary Wilbur (who mostly pretends to have no owner at all! – Ed), this Cat is the popular Café which sits at the corner of High Street and Parkyns Street. Red Noses in Ruddington!

Friday the 24th of March 2017 is “Red Nose Day”. It’s the main biennial fundraising event organised by “Comic Relief” – broadcast live on BBC One and BBC Two television from 7.00pm in the evening until early the following morning. It raises money for numerous charities that help children in need and tackle worldwide poverty. Here in Ruddington, staff at our branch of The Nottingham Building Society (pictured above) have secured a raft of raffle prizes to raise money for Comic Relief – thanks to the generosity of local businesses.
