Ruddingtonians awoke to another blanket of snow this morning – as the effects of the so-called “Beast from the East #2” were felt across the area. Early casualties were yesterday’s Ruddington Village FC fixture against Awsworth Villa FC at Elms Park and today’s Stroke Association ‘Resolution Run’ at Rushcliffe Country Park – both of which were postponed yesterday, anticipating the icy conditions.
