A Ruddington based technology company which supplies education software is celebrating a win at last night’s Bett Awards.
Impero, which is based at Oak House in Ruddington Fields Business Park, picked up the gong for “ICT Exporter of the Year“.
Founded in 2002, Impero describe themselves as “specialists in network management, classroom control and online safety software, designed for the global EdTech sector.” They have become particularly well known for being the authors of Impero Education Pro, a suite of network management, online safety and classroom control tools, designed to support IT teams, help teachers and protect students. It’s claimed that this software is accessed by more than one million computers in over 70 countries. In the UK alone Impero Education Pro is now used by over 40% of secondary schools.
Proudly holding up their award last night the team Tweeted:
“Absolutely over the moon to have won a Bett Award this year @BettAwards #BETTAWARDS! Celebrating with @TheANME.”
We wish them continued success in the future!
