Our much anticipated four day “RuddFest” 2017 is here – and is more impressive than ever! It runs from noon until late from Thursday the 1st to Sunday the 4th of June.
Not only is there a dedicated beer marquee, a range of stalls and a children’s play area on our village green but also the three host pubs, The Three Crowns on Easthorpe Street, White Horse on Church Street, The Victoria Tavern on Wilford Road and The Frame Breakers on High Street are all offering their own special festival contributions! Altogether there are over 200 ales and ciders throughout Ruddington this year, plus live entertainment and lots of food choices.
Here’s a MAP to help find them.
And, of course, Ruddington also has another FOUR village pubs/bars along with our cafes & restaurants to choose from! The Navy 3 or Green 10 buses from the city run by Nottingham City Transport can be caught directly to The Green or to any of our village venues and, for the first time this year, there’s a special downloadable “RuddFest” discount travel voucher (click on the image below). All you need to do is either print it off, or show it to the driver on the screen of a mobile device, when you board the first NCT bus and ask for an “Eventrider”. It will then cost you just £2.50 rather than the usual £3.70 for an all day ticket.
On Saturday 3rd, from noon until 6pm, NCT will have one of its new eco-friendly Green 10 bio-gas buses on display on The Green, too! It’s to be unveiled by NCT’s Anthony Carver-Smith, RPC Chairman Allen Wood & RuddFest organiser John Noble (see updated slideshow below).
There’s live music on both The Green and in The White Horse car park. And, remember, on the Sunday afternoon of Ruddfest this year, there’s also “Ruddington’s Got Talent” at The White Horse featuring a host of local stars doing their thing! (You can see the pub’s full “live” music line-up >>HERE<<.)
