Ruddington’s Own ‘Phone System Launched

A village based digital communications agency – best known for its creative artwork, bespoke branding and websites – is branching out into the latest technology by offering customers state-of-the-art business telephony.

WigWag – which moved into Martindale House on The Green in 2016 – has already been praised locally for the design of Ruddington’s village gateway sign (subsequently adapted for the Ruddington Loyalty Card) as well as its artwork for the Ruddington Parish Council commemorative WW1 Centenary bench next to the War Memorial.

Now the company has launched its very own ‘cloud’ telephone system using VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology to receive and make telephone calls – which it says gives users much more flexibility than a traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN) whilst also eliminating call charges.

Founder Steve Ennis {pictured top} explains: “Considering the way in which people work nowadays this is definitely the way forward. Not only can you have the usual handsets around your workplace but you can take any of your business numbers with you on your mobile, wherever you go, without needing any clumsy call diversions. It can also act as a virtual receptionist, queue incoming calls for you, pass them around a ring group, record calls or act as an answerphone for when there’s just no one available. It’s really versatile!”

Other features of this app based system include the ability to take your contacts with you – and to share them across a whole team. You can also ‘click to call’ customers and send SMS messages straight from your computer’s browser when you don’t have your mobile to hand.

Steve adds: “Whether you want a Nottingham, London or Birmingham phone number, it’s not a problem. You can choose numbers from just about anywhere, no matter where you are. If you’ve moved offices to a different geographical area but want to keep the same ‘landline’ number that’s no problem. If you want an 03 or 08 number instead, we can do that too.”

He’s hoping both Ruddington sole traders and larger businesses will be some of the first to try out this new technology to start saving money. The plans cost from £7.70 per month per user for a home office and £11.60 per month for business users. A premium service costing £15.70 per month per user is also available if you wish to have ALL the possible features enabled. You can see the full details >HERE<<.

WigWag is currently offering a FREE 7 day trial for your home office or a FREE 14 day free trial for business users.
