A free, fun, and friendly weekly 2k event for juniors
Ruddington’s Junior Parkrun needs YOU! It’s on Sunday morning from 9am – for 4 to 14 year-olds. It’s organised by volunteers and you can join the team. Voluntary jobs are varied from operating the timer to organising the finish funnel.
Rushcliffe junior parkrun says: “Volunteering at parkrun is an opportunity to get outside, make new friends, have fun, learn new skills and to be a valuable part of your local community. We never ask anybody to do anything they’re not comfortable with. If you don’t want a particular task, please let us know and we will happily give you an alternative job. Nevertheless, none of our tasks are too stressful. If you really want to do something in particular, please let us know and we’ll see what we can do.”
