If you’re looking for retail voluntary work in the village centre, how about at The Honeycomb?
The shop is staffed mainly by a team of volunteers. They provide a warm welcome for shoppers to browse and they are happy for customers to pop in for a chat with the helpers, take a few minutes to sit peacefully in the garden room or to use the prayer request box.
The Christian Charity Shop says “behind The Honeycomb there is a completely independent charity called The Saved to serve Trust. Our remit is to relieve poverty and meet need.”
