There’s no need for you to be an Alpha Male to go along to a FREE course starting next month in Ruddington!
The 2017 Alpha Course is now available for booking by everyone and anyone – and the Anglican, Baptist and Methodist churches in our village would like to invite you to join them “…to explore if there is more to life than this!?”
With now only 28% of the UK population saying they believe in God or a higher spiritual power (“You Gov” poll, December 2016) it’s a chance given by our local churches to find out more about the Christian faith, ask questions and share your point of view. Since it began, national statistics reveal 1.2 million Britons have already attended an Alpha Course.
This year, two different 10 week formats are being offered in Ruddington – either on a Wednesday afternoon or a Thursday evening – starting on the 20th/21st September. Each time there will be something to eat, a short presentation about the Christian faith, then an informal discussion. They told us: “Although the course is FREE, its value is absolutely PRICELESS!”

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS
Commencing 20th September:
Time: 12:45 – 14:45 with buffet lunch provided.

THURSDAY EVENINGS
Commencing 21st September:
Time: 19:30 – 21:30 with hot meal provided.
Venue: The Hermitage, Wilford Rd, Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, NG11 6EL
