Are you 8 to 13 years old? Interested in nature exploration and discovery, games and practical activities with other young people?
Then you’re invited to join in the fun!
Rushcliffe Country Park Wildlife Watch Group usually get together on the 2nd Saturday of every month, from 11.00am to 1.00pm, whatever the weather. Please meet up at the Education Room in Rushcliffe Country Park.

Sat 11th Jan -‘Fantastic Beasts and where to find them’
Go and delve into the amazing world of the invertebrates with ‘Rent a Beast’. Be prepared to be amazed as you are introduced to these wonders.
Sat 8th Feb – ‘Re-wilding Britain’
What has become extinct in Nottinghamshire? Even lions, rhinos and elephants once lived in our area, so what amazing creatures would you like to see brought back to life here? How aboutgolden eagles on your garden feeders? Or wild boar munching your grandad’s allotment peas and beans?
Sat 14th Mar – ‘Creature Comforts’
Find out who lives here all year round and who has a penthouse in Africa, or a holiday home in Arctic climes.

Members and non-members are welcome. Under-8’s must be accompanied by an adult.
