‘Ruddington Rhythm’ Music Night

For musicians, and those who love to listen to “live” music, how about this monthly gathering in Ruddington?

The event takes place right here, in our village centre, and is open both for artists who’d like to perform and for audiences who like to hear a range of genres. These include Americana, country, blues, rock ‘n’ roll, standards, pop, folk … and even sea shanties.

Entry is £3.00 to the Live Music and Open Mic session which starts at 8pm in The Cottage Hotel on the 3rd Thursday of each month.

Ruddington Rhythm (formerly ‘Ruddington Folk & Blues’) was founded by Ron McSweeney who says: “We welcome any new performers regardless of their standard of musicianship. When performers arrive I enter their names on a ‘running order’ sheet. There could be seven or 20+ but that may break down to a smaller number of ‘acts’ (duos, trios, etc).”
