Remembrance Sunday

Come along to The Royal British Legion’s Parade and Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Ruddington – weather permitting – on Sunday 13th November.

A parade of local organisations will march to the War Memorial before the service starts at 10.45am on Sunday 13th November. The Last Post will be played at 11am. Then the two minutes’ silence will be observed to pause and reflect “on the service and sacrifices the Armed Forces make on our behalf.”

The outdoor Sunday service will include prayers, hymns and the laying of wreaths at the War Memorial.  Thereafter you can join the Remembrance Service inside St Peter’s Church.

Please note that on Friday November 11th – ‘Armistice Day’ itself – there is an additional short service held at the War Memorial to mark the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
