Henry Normal in Ruddington – CANCELLED

Very sadly his appearances here and elsewhere have now been cancelled due to the COVID-19 #Coronavirus pandemic.
Ruddington Library will be closed until further notice afterSaturday 21st March.

Villagers can look forward to something extra-special this spring, as local poet, writer and award-winning TV and film producerHenry Normalbrings his funny and accessible poetry to Ruddington Library.
Co-writer of The Royle Family and producer of Gavin and Stacey, Nottingham’s own Henry Normal is coming here to present “a one-hour show packed with fun, poetry, jokes, stories and more!”
His tour of Nottinghamshire libraries is part of Nottingham Poetry Festival 2020.
Henry told RUDDINGTON.info: “I’m doing a FREE gig at EVERY Nottinghamshire Library during April and May – that’s sixty libraries! I don’t think it’s ever been done before. Each event will be 60 minutes and include a guest poet from Nottinghamshire and a poem read from up to 3 people in the audience.”
The Ruddington guest will be poet, performer, playwright and Left Lion journalist Bridie Squires.
