Beginner’s Mind: ‘Learn to Meditate & Be Mindful’

Ruddington mindfulness teacher Jakki Pritchardis inviting us to enrol on a4-weekeveningcourse she’s running on Zoom, starting on Tuesday 19th January.
Jakki, who is listed with The UK Mindfulness Network / BAMBA,says it will help you learn to meditate and be mindful during these challenging times:
“Meditation and mindfulness have never been more important for calming our restless and worried minds – to give us a sense of grounding into the present moment, when everything else can feel so overwhelming and off balance” she explains.”On this introductory course you will learn the calming skill of meditation and bring mindfulness into your daily life with ease. These scientifically proven tools significantly reduce stress, anxiety and low mood.”
Jakki continues: “This nourishing course emphasises awareness, self-care and inner strength (resilience). Through building meditation and mindfulness skills over the 4 weeks, you will gain greater control of your emotions, moods and the ability to recognise unhelpful, habitual thoughts patterns, such as worry, anxiety, or limiting beliefs such as ‘not feeling good enough’. The course empowers you to be less harsh and more kind to yourself. Over the four weeks we develop greater awareness and resolve (a sense of ‘having your own back’) for the year ahead by recognising the inner critic, quietening the mind and turning towards difficulties with compassion, acceptance and calmness.”
Jakki’s course will include free daily practises and costs£45 (normally £95).
